Well, I know some won't agree with me but, I leave a 10/22 on the side porch with one in the chamber and keep the mag inside. I got tired of going out and my scope fogging up. I have a big 125# alarm outside and if you can make it through him and glass without meeting Mr.12ga. or miss AR well, I...
Take a grinding wheel and cut the front sides, top and bottom edge, basically leaving yourself the complete front of the vault (1-piece, fully functioning threshold, jamb, hinges and door).
Or cut the back out and make it look like just another safe up against the wall.
Many of the older SA22's didn't even have matching numbers and were only used for inventory. Besides it's on the barrel not the rec. which is the one that counts. Might even be worth more with the over stamping if it can be confirmed with Browning.
I have one that the box, barrel and rec. are...
I would say the value has dropped about a dollar a year, so rather than charge you $10 I'll pick it up for nothing just to help out.

I shot a 10/22 with a new Nikon 3x9 p-22 and was very impressed with it for a all around scope. The Mueller is the way to go for a bench rest gun if you want to stay under$400.
I just picked up a United 50 cal. ammo can with the flaming bomb, side lock. My question is, is this just old run of the mill or something worth hanging on to more than a regular can?
Iv'e been thinking about getting some NV for sometime now. I like the idea of 1X goggles for several reasons, hands free, being able to walk and see, can be used for other fun and useful stuff that doesn't require a gun and not having to have a dedicated NV gun.
Do any of y'all use goggle and...
