All fire and law enforcement in Georgia that I am familiar with have gone to digital radios and all are encrypted. Not much available for public safety in "clear talk" anymore. Nearly all radios are going digital and encryption is built in to many systems for no extra cost. The days of the...
Check Exile Armory in Alabama they had 1911 Performance Center pistols in stock recently at good pricing. They have daily Youtube videos of used and new stock. They ship and do layaway, pricing seems good on most firearms.
As a Life Member, I have never used membership to save any money on anything. They have some motel, car rental and other discounts but not enough to worry about. Many gun clubs require 100% NRA membership so that would be a reason to join. Many are under the mis-perception that NRA is a 2A...
Short answer is NO, not cheaper. All equipment and component costs has also gone up greatly, if you can find them. Even before the current market I looked into shotshells and unless I was reloading for 4 to 5 of my shooting buddies and sharing cost it was cheaper to buy a case from Academy or...
Two ways I look at the current ammo prices. By summer we will find lower prices due to many buying now and putting ammo on high interest credit cards and some will be selling at a loss to make their card payments. The other group are the ones that keep the ammo purchased on credit and now...

Went to this show in December just before Christmas. Tons of ammo at high prices, top 10 models on seller tables didn't really see much else that interested me. Hunting bolt rifles and shotguns were fairly priced to me but none had the caliber/model I was looking to buy. Several dealers said...
Also noticed the CEO/President of Federal, CCI, Remington brands put out a similar video same day saying he was tired of the whining and misinformation being put out. Early on in the video notice the facility racks full of ammo. Wonder why all this was sitting and not moved out of the storage...
Interesting read with some good information even if the article is now three years old. One of the reasons I stay away from buying any green tip rounds. Thanks for the article.
It has to do with the focus point being at a long distance from the rifle. Same principle where photographers can take baseball player pictures when up close and shooting through a chain link fence and the fence is not seen in the photograph.
