XAegis bipod - Inexpensive but not cheap

I ordered this a few days ago after reading reviews about "the best bipod..." I went with the carbon fiber version cuz it's just cooler than metal and I save a whole fraction of an ounce or something. Anyway, for the money I wasn't sure what to expect, having not much experience with this brand or bipods in general. For under $30 the risk was rather low, and Amazon is good about returns. I am pleasantly surprised. It suits my purposes just fine.

I have not used it yet. I am just giving my overall first impression in terms of quality, function, and features. I will post an update after a range trip. But for under $30 the risk is quite low.

I actually got the bipod to help me zero in my red dot sight, which was not far off the mark right out of the box. But I needed something steady to help with that for a modest price. This seems to be the ideal solution. For the $$$ it is hard to go wrong.
