Green Egg guy here too... We are open fire roasting oysters and having a low country boil however, nothing on the egg today.

Heres my setup, built by yours truly... Red cedar frame with poured concrete top...

I can't afford a big green egg, just a COS. It's been going for 23 hours now with two fat butts in it. Was up till 5 fighting sub freezing weather trying to keep it going.
 
This grill belongs to a friend of mine, Jim Hughes. It is a double rack rotisserie and he made the grill himself. He brought it to my house and we had a bunch of people over from church. Boston butts, chicken quarters and pork steak.

Where did you find it for $399, did a quick search and most around $600-700


A new place called bargain hunt at 41 and Barrett in Kennesaw. They were out of boxed units, so I took the display. Saw 131 five star reviews for it on Home Depots site, so I couldn't pass it up. I had to order a heat displacer for it for smoking ($49)
