Talk to the carrier. In my experience They will work with you but they don’t want to have to back up.

Ask your carrier or local PO about a “hardship delivery”. Carrier will need to be able to turn around from it. They aren’t allowed to back out into the street.

Install a fake mailbox for him to check by the house. Deliver Penthouses and Playboys to keep him going back for more.

My uncle had a walking route as a mail carrier in a small town in South Carolina. I remember his big leather mail tote.
