My dumb idea that involves a 12 gauge

Why is it hard?
I have a crazy shotty want. Was thinking I'd like a short, stagecoach 10 guage black powder. To load with a ball and a mess of 32 cal buck on top over a bit of an extra powder charge. Was reading a book about some of the longhunter frontier dudes and there was a reference to that being carried by one of them for close quarter defense in thicker woods. Stop a charge kind of thing. Thought that was pretty awesome. Would kick like a mule but would be one helluva room clearer 
You're right. Should have said a definite no.
A key facet of these discussions is that differences in similar weapons disappear when proficiency is acquired. Check brobee223 youtube for examples of how the aow shotgun handles in a dynamic situation.
I got lucky with mine. It had a 389 with a carter 4 barrel carb, four speed in the floor and would out run everything including my buddy's 390 mustang 4 speed. The only thing it wouldn't pass was a gas station.GTO stood for "Get the Tools Out"....
thanks for that information. I bought the mossberg 500 PGO and after my sprained wrist got able to I put on the straight raptor grip and can shoot it now without harming my wrist. That pistol grip only idea was pretty lame in my idea. I sure lamed me!
The other one I remember was Gas, Tires and Oil....
