If you were going to run a suppressor? Which 22lr Pistol would you select for your own?

Browning buckmark. Couldn't get my S&W 22 compact to run reliably suppressed with Spectre II. Have a SR22 that I've thought about getting a threaded barrel for.

My Walther P22 was a good suppressor host,
but not as accurate as I liked.
And that cheap alloy metal they built it out of didn't stand up well to the wear & tear of shooting 22 rimfire ammo *suppressed*-- which is inherently a dirty business.

My new favorite host for my AAC pilot suppressor is a Browning Buck Mark.

But, I have not tried (or even researched) any other 22 semi auto pistols
as a potential host, at least for any models introduced in the last 10 years.
We had one as a range rental, lasted forever seemed like finally broke about 100k rounds with little or no cleaning.

How accurate does it have to be?
I cant speak on the 3.5" as the grouping was not as good when I owned one but with the 5" Model.
I was able to take down a squirrel size target at 15 yards standing.
That is when the sights are physically on the slide and not knocked off.

Was yours Buckmark factory threaded Such as that of the Camper Model?
and if so does it produce this noise of the slide hitting the barrel?
Owned a Browning buck mark with a TS Barrel. It would produce a high pitch sound when the steel slide hit the aluminum barrel. It was distracting to say the least.
Perhaps since mine had two different alloys the noise was amplified.

Beretta Model 71
Wasn't very accurate for me, the rear sights liked to drift. Probably why I wasn't accurate.
The mag only holds 8 and relative to its size not very impressive. Great Build Quality tho.

S&W MP22 Pistol was nice.
Did everything I wanted it too. Just never fell in love with it.

Ruger Mark 22/45?
Very Quiet Action. Might have been the most quiet one iv shot.
Acceptable accuracy with red dot ( this model didn't have sights)
I think it was the first model available with threaded barrel before the model with rail and sights.
I prefer irons when available for plinking. PITA to clean.

S&W 422.
This one looked goofy. Felt good in the hands.
The accuracy was good.
Functioned nearly flawlessly. Better than expected.

I do like the P22 5" Target Model.
If you have jamming issues, you might need to break it in some. The spring might be too strong.
If the spring is light enough. I had one that used to cycle the CCI Quiets 700FPS
