AR lower assembly issue

OP, looking close at that, I don't think thats a GI AR trigger. The hammer looks like one, but not the trigger.

What is looks like is a 2-stage trigger, and single stage AR hammer.

I think you're right about the trigger shoe being a Jard. It's got a strange disco design, held in place by a third pin.

I want to see this trigger and hammer removed from the gun.

The one good thing I can say about this is, USUALLY an AR can be fixed with relatively cheap, easy to get, drop-in parts. That appears to be the case here...

New FCG and you should be good to go. Just make sure not to loose the little safety detent and spring when you remove the grip to get the safety out. If you have never removed a FCG, the pointed end goes toward the safety and flat end towards the spring. Post pics and update once you get it running correctly.
