AR lower assembly issue

You shouldn't even be able to put it on "safe" if the hammer isn't already back

I feel something is out of spec. If you ever come by the Cartersville/Euharlee area, I could take a look at it.

I have quite a few lowers and parts. I could probably figure out what is wrong.

Without pictures though, this one for me, is hard to diagnose.

Thanks man! It appears that the trigger assembly is out of spec, actually looks twisted a liitle. Appears to be a full auto selector switch too, which may not be compatable as well. I ordered a timney trigger set....if that doesn't take care of it i'd like to take you up on your offer

If the trigger and hammer pin holes are out of that could cause issues.

alleycat I need to double check these when I get home, but this would be a way to check if your FCG holes are out of spec in the lower.

Again, not 100% sure this is "mil-spec" accurate, but I will check Monday when I get back home.

Im wondering about that...its actually one of the odt lowers. Hopefully the new trigger pack will take care of it

Swap the selector out for a standard selector and reinstall the trigger. Be sure that the disconnecter spring is installed and that the hammer spring is oriented correctly.
