This^^^ Looks like a hammer that does have the pin installed all the way through, but I don't see part of it sticking out on the right side either.
I would love to look at this in person.
Also, that is not an M16 safety selector.
This is awesome, thank you! The trigger pack is supposed to arrive on Tuesday....let me know when you may have some time any day after that and i'll just bring everything to Cartersville and get you to check it out
OP, looking close at that, I don't think thats a GI AR trigger. The hammer looks like one, but not the trigger.
What is looks like is a 2-stage trigger, and single stage AR hammer.

Is there an extra pin in there? The tail of the trigger looks like it's different too.

My best guess, that is a Jard trigger and a GI hammer
ETA: The trigger bow is what caught my eye after looking. No way that is a regular AR15 trigger.
Just shoot me pic of them once pulled. It will let us know what is happening for sure.
