AR lower assembly issue

Yes, FCG is out of spec. It allows the safety to be on without the hammer cocked blocking it and thusly the carrier. This is due in part of either an out is spec safety tang or the fact that the trigger/hammer pin holes are way too large when I measured them...maybe both.

I emailed JARD and have an RA for the FCG. Have yet to have a chance to mail it back for a replacement. Just sitting on my bench in an envelope ready to go out. :-/

I promised alleycat a write up in this FCG once the new one comes back. I will explain the problem more in depth then. First impression of the trigger is not looking good though...
Possible it's for a large pin Colt?

Are these good triggers? I never heard of them and looked them up. They look awfully cheap for $150 or so.
I will clarify In the write up, but first impressions are awful. The trigger spring is a seemingly cut down bic pen spring.

The pull is spongy (I feel because of the coil spring) and the break is not very predictable. Again though, I can explain better once I take some pictures and post up.

If someone asked about them at this point, I would say no, but I would really like to test an "in spec" unit before I all out bash it. I have read where quite a few people who love them. Just not seeing it right now. That, and the design is "odd" to say the least.

Customer service has been good up to this point though. We shall see...

No, it's only .007 out, but it's enough to allow the trigger to drop down and forward for the safety to roll over the tang in the de cocked position. I am only measuring .003 and under on all my other triggers, both standard and 2-stage.
