Thanks for the offer. I am beginning to believe my dream of getting it done on a cnc, etc may be unrealistic. If I can't get it figured out and I'm up that way, I'll drop you a line and show up w/ some 3/8" bar stock.
Thanks for the reply. I should clarify that I'm nowhere near adventurous enough to try anything technical like the adjustable one, nor sufficiently artistically inclined to shape something like that in the first photo. Kinda looking for the form of the spacer on the adjustable at the thickness...

I am working on renovating a Mossberg 500, and I really want to put a small (3/8" or so) aluminum spacer between the wood stock and the Limbsaver grind-to-fit buttpad. I considered just buying a large aluminum stock spacer and grinding it to fit with my angle grinder, but I searched...
1. For soaking in vinegar, CLR or other solvent, I recommend using ear plugs to plug up the barrel to avoid any potential damage to the bore (although I do not suspect that vinegar, the only solvent I have used, myself, would cause damage-- still, better safe than sorry).
2. For stubborn...
Bravo, Zombie. This is the kind of post I come to the ODT to see... We need more stuff like this that is actually informative and based on firsthand experience. Entirely too many posts here are the expression of consumer opinions on products the posting consumer has never owned or even handled.
It's just the trigger. If the pull wasn't so long and heavy, I would still own mine and use it as a primary carry. But it is, so I switched to a G26. Love the modularity of the sig though.
