  1. Palmetto Build - Gawk Away

PSA is selling blem lowers for $49.99 right now... http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/psa-blemished-safe-fire-lower.html
  2. 1911, just like grandaddy intended

Haven't been on ODT much at all lately, but now I'm questioning the wisdom of that. Frickin' hilarious thread... I had never heard of Mr. Dickbutt before this. Now I see that he's literally everywhere. http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/dick-butt
  3. Any ideas on how to make a custom buttstock spacer? HELP NEEDED

Thanks for the offer. I am beginning to believe my dream of getting it done on a cnc, etc may be unrealistic. If I can't get it figured out and I'm up that way, I'll drop you a line and show up w/ some 3/8" bar stock.
  4. Any ideas on how to make a custom buttstock spacer? HELP NEEDED

Thanks for the reply. I should clarify that I'm nowhere near adventurous enough to try anything technical like the adjustable one, nor sufficiently artistically inclined to shape something like that in the first photo. Kinda looking for the form of the spacer on the adjustable at the thickness...
  5. Any ideas on how to make a custom buttstock spacer? HELP NEEDED

The idea of the build is to be so yesteryear... Long story short, not looking for the carbon fiber look, but I appreciate the suggestion.
  6. Any ideas on how to make a custom buttstock spacer? HELP NEEDED

Obviously, if anyone volunteers to help me out with this, I'll buy the materials and, if you want em, the beers.
  7. Any ideas on how to make a custom buttstock spacer? HELP NEEDED

All: I am working on renovating a Mossberg 500, and I really want to put a small (3/8" or so) aluminum spacer between the wood stock and the Limbsaver grind-to-fit buttpad. I considered just buying a large aluminum stock spacer and grinding it to fit with my angle grinder, but I searched...
  8. Least expensive pistol you would trust for a CCW

    So did George Zimmerman.
  9. 21st Century Tommy gun.

This may induce more excitement than your avatar.
  10. Polishing LCP Barrel ?

    1. For soaking in vinegar, CLR or other solvent, I recommend using ear plugs to plug up the barrel to avoid any potential damage to the bore (although I do not suspect that vinegar, the only solvent I have used, myself, would cause damage-- still, better safe than sorry). 2. For stubborn...
  11. Best 308 for under $500

    Savage.
  12. AR Trigger

No more moving parts, I don't think. Upper and lower trigger are all one solid casting, if memory serves. Still a bad idea, IMO.
  13. New AR project

If you're still on the Redbull in 2013, you're sleeping. Get you some NoXplode, friendo!
  14. Palmetto State Armory's New Aluminum Flip Up Sight Review

Bravo, Zombie. This is the kind of post I come to the ODT to see... We need more stuff like this that is actually informative and based on firsthand experience. Entirely too many posts here are the expression of consumer opinions on products the posting consumer has never owned or even handled.
  15. Help me choose a scope...

"Popping the chicken" sounds like it has nothing to do with shooting!
  16. Gun company fails

It's just the trigger. If the pull wasn't so long and heavy, I would still own mine and use it as a primary carry. But it is, so I switched to a G26. Love the modularity of the sig though.
  17. Meprolight Reflex Sight-- Anyone with Experience?

It doesn't take any batteries. Powered by fiber optic and tritium.
