Who knows old cars?

Guy sent me a NADA value of the car for 14k?

For a nicely restored one maybe, not that one.
Everything under the hood is dirty/old except maybe the engine itself.
The interior looks like an amateur had his way with it.
The only thing that looks halfway nice is the body.

I wouldn't pay more than 4-5 grand the way it sits, and it better run damn good for that price.

What he said. People wanting these old Fords usually want them completely bone stock with the chrome bumpers, old steerring wheels and all.
Smart fellow once told me "NADA price don't mean much to me - they don't give you names of who will pay that price!".
Car don't look to be near a #1 or #2 car to me.
Just my opinion for what it's worth.

Here is a Hagarty link for you:

That one has to many personal add on's to be a quick sale. Model year not that big of demand right now either. The 63 1/2's are coming around pretty good though.
IF it were a 390 hi pro or 427 two four, four speed car numbers matching yes.
My opinion it's an entry level driver for cruise ins. For what that's worth

I would stay away from that galaxy. Looks like its been molested regularly. The motor in it is probably a 390. Great motor but expensive to get high hp from. Keep an eye out on CList and you'll run across something. Heck I might even sell my 67 ranchero if you're really interested.
