I have one too, but, i find it hard to widdle a piece of wood with it. cleaning under my fingernails with it is rought too.

I have cold steel gurkha kukri, my grandfathers old ful tang fixed blade and a nice leatherman. I have a bunch of various other knives and toys but those I would take with me.

my Ka-bar tanto and a leatherman. There will be plenty of metal lying around to make a machete or any kind of edged weapon out of for that matter. I learned how to Knapp a long time ago so I am good!

SOG Seal Pup or full size SOG knife are very durable and will not corrode or rust, even when submerged in salt water for long periods of time. Very sharp too.

x10 on the SOG knives. While my Kabar Becker is my go to knife on camping and hunting trips. I have a Seal Pup in my EDC and in my BOB. My children all have SEAL Pups as well....very dependable blade.
