The kicker will be when they ban various things without any grandfather clauses and people are left holding 'banned' items with no legal way to dispose other than surrender.

No man should fear their government! When I took my oath I knew that I could die defending our freedoms, does it matter if I die in Afghanistan or in my own home? As long as I die upholding my oath I will die with honor and that's all I care about.

I don't drink or take any meds, no need for them. I only speak the bitter truth. The ugly reality is a storm is brewing on the horizon and we are all going to be forced to make decisions. The truth is the vast majority of people on here want to stick their heads in the sand and hope for the best, look deep in your heart and tell me what you will do when the time comes to fight tyranny. It's easy to criticize me but not one person has offered an alternative. Are you going to surrender or fight?

Not a badass, just not a coward. The Second Amendment was put in place to prevent government tyranny and to give the people a means to resist if need be. Our Forefathers fought far superior forces to give us the Constitution and freedom and I'll be damned if I will turn coat and run. If the rest of you are cowards and will not fight for the Constitution then that is your choice; I have made mine and will live with the consequences.
If you are unwilling to use your firearms to resist tyranny then you do not deserve them anyway, go ahead and sell them to those of us that will use them and take up knitting or crochet since it is far more fitting.

Although I completely agree with what you have said I do think that it is still early for this type of speech just yet. My tinfoil hat has not blocked everything and I do believe that it may come to this someday, I'm just not sure it is here yet.

I will leave everyone with this though. In my mind these are powerful words that are under appreciated.
