Remington 513 assembled & range report.

Thanks! My plan was to originally rust blue the rifle. But I have an opportunity to hot blue it and be done with it in a couple hours so I am going to go that route. The delay in getting parts has put it very close to Christmas.

The original parts were rust blued and I spent twice as much time sandblasting the finish off as I did hot blued parts. Rust blue finish was much deeper in the metal and I think a testament to its durability as a finish.

Blued all the parts today. Assembly and hopefully shoot it tomorrow.

Here are a few more with a scope I had laying around for now.

My intent was to originally rust blue the rifle. I made two seperate orders to Numerich arms. Each order took two to recieve for order to my door. So that set me back basicly a month and then finding the time after so close to Christmas hot blue seemed the most reasonable thing to do!

The rifle also bore sighted with ease. So that tells am my drilling and tapping of the scope bases was at proper ligament with the barrel. Hopefully I will be able to shoot this afternoon.
