I would have to look at shortning the action and bolt. simple and easy. that long throw for a such short round HMMMMM like an orignal savage 110. I would also have to look at redesigning the dang cheap extractor. bolt on attachment. I say cut the action, making it fit the 45ACP then weld it up then cut bolt the bolt weld it up and shorten firing pin makes for a shorter action less bolt travel and shorter bolt throw that would eliminate having to fill the void with bedding compound, I would have to look at using a mauser bolt mounted claw extractor as opposided to that bolt on crap! JMHO

Here's the final product....Dave left town for awhile, I left town, had to order a part, then I forgot about it...anyhow, she's done now and I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to shoot it!
