I think you're mistaken... you probably mean the first ten THOUSAND Glock ads, don't you... well, because they all look the same to the enlightened eye of a member of the non-plastic world of guns.

I think you may have a point. They do all sort of looked the same unless they have been "customized" or are a "rare collectors item" Glock.

Good point though, if there are going to be specialized sub-forums, should be one for plastic guns, so the fan boyz aren't bothered by having to look at real machined guns.

The old threads aren't supposed to show up.

People have to post new ads for them to show up in the new forums, even if they are the same old ads they have been posting forever. It's the "what's old is new" principal.

Ok, now I know it isn't me. Sometimes me and puters just don't get along too good. Thanks

The major issue though is a lot of use Tapatalk and previously I could subscribe to the separate thread for just revolvers. Now with the current system that is not a possibility. I believe there are a lot of us on here that really enjoyed a separate thread for revolvers and it would be greatly appreciated if you would consider adding that back for us.

are the color coded region tabs coming back? now they are all grey. Yesterday for a few hours, they were all color coordinated. my region, NW GA for example was green. it was really nice to see at a glance if something was nearby.

I'm thinking about trying to make it an option so you can turn it on and off.

Why can't I just get revolvers in my feed? I am not liking the having to look through all those "other guns" to find a "real gun".....and yes I do own both.

I don't do Tapatalk and I would like to see a return to a Stand-alone Revolver Section--So, who do I need to bug about this to "Git 'Er Done"???

When you click on the forum "Handguns" look just above the first listing and click on the " Revolver" button and that will list revolvers only.

I think I am beginning to get a grip on this new layout.

I have updated the classifieds with our latest version and changed some pretty major policies.

Georgia Only

No more national classifieds! I’ve thought about it for a long time and decided that The Outdoors Trader just isn’t a national site, it’s a Georgia site, so starting today we’re no longer allowing listings from outside Georgia unless they are labeled as “Ship or Transfer.”

New Sub Categories

We now have sub-category buttons within each forum, it should appear at the top of the page. If I’ve forgotten any that you think should be added please post in here and I’ll consider it.

The new sub-categories will only work on new ads.

We have also lost the Class 3 category, and instead we have a Class 3 sub-category in each section. Now suppressors will be in accessories, sbr’s will be in rifles, etc.

New Structure

I've simplified the structure of the classifieds so it should be easier to navigate. Any categories that were removed will now be a sub-category so don't worry. You should be able to get to any classifieds forum from the front page by using the little dropdown next to each category in the classifieds section. (Or just hit the classifieds tab at the top)

Steals & Deals and Dealer Listings

Starting today, all dealers will need to follow our new dealer rules, which are as follows:

Firearms and firearms accessory dealers are allowed to post one ad per day in the “Steals & Deals” area. This can be a listing for one gun or several, but whatever is listed in the ad can’t be listed again for 7 days.

Community Service Section

I reorganized the classifieds and decided to separate out a few forums into a new area called “Community Service.” It has the good will forum, the business directory, events & meet-ups, etc.
