• ODT Gun Show & Swap Meet - May 4, 2024! - Click here for info

I don't give a shyte what you remember the price was....

Since I am missing the point and you thing I am part of your so called problem, let me explain this to you again. So what? I dime is not a dime if it is collectible, a Glock is not just a Glock if someone wants to pay a higher price. Get out of other people's business. It does not concern you, so why do you care? Oh, I know, you must not sold your gun for the correct price. Jealous much?

It's not about selling for me . I have sold some guns in my life and regretted them all but one. I'm a collector and don't care to sell another one ever really . I'm just saying this place and gun shows are plagued with the bad apples wanting $550 or 600 for a used Glock 19. Or $300 for a worn out New England single shot. Too many trying to flip the same guns over and over

Where can we find typical glock is a glock for 350? Asking for a flipper friend

....in 1990. We aren't that different in age. I remember what the price was in 1990 too....

We've fast forwarded 30 years you momo. The dollar has been devalued by 100% since then.

I know they (insert widget here) were $50 thirty years ago. They're $100 today.

Rant over.

I too remember the low prices over the years

I remember some really great bulk deals even for those times - 9mm $4 a box 45acp $6 a box .223 5.56 @ $.12 a round 30.06 @ $.25 7.62x39 @ $.10

I also remember buying in bulk not shooting it all and putting some back hundreds of times through the years

Betcha the whiners here are the same that scoffed and rolled their eyes chuckling at me prepping as a paranoid tinfoil hat nut - To all of them I can only say

You should be grateful that someone who had foresight is even willing to sell to you

I have a plenty and it’s still not for sale even at current prices that would be 5X my purchase price or more in some cases - I can go shoot anytime I want regardless of current availability and I like it that way - It was money well spent that I never missed

If you are old enough to remember the low prices and are now effected by current prices then that is simply a form of natural selection in my opinion

Consider the increase a storage fee for your piss poor planning and shut up already

So, you don't really want to sell to anyone, yet you KNOW what happens after every sale. My question to you Mr. Collector who doesn't sell many guns, how do you know that the bad apples are flipping? Do you have inside information? Or are you just guessing? Since you don't sell much, I am just wondering how you know this is happening. My thoughts are you are just guessing and have no clear proof that anything you say is true. But, now you join other price control advocates in your inane quest to dictate what others should do. Can't believe you have been on this site for two years and you have just now become "Woke". Leave others to their own decisions.

I sort of like selling a win 92 for $1900 that I bought for $35 in 1960 .
Omg you are a flipper and price gouger. You are everything that’s wrong with the world today. How dare you make any profit. Sry if that didn’t flow very well. I’m still new at this price shaming/crybaby/socialist/think anyone cares what my opinion is thing
