Game warden question

Here is my advice:

Long and short of it isn't pretty. When I was a patrolman years ago I got a call of a reckless driver observed by another officer out of jurisdiction. Based on that officers observations I took action. The GSP (Gods Special Police) have statewide jurisdiction, but are specific in traffic enforcement, and non fish and game. He forwarded his observations to another LEO.

Now, it's my opinion you speak with your CO and get your bases covered prior to speaking with DNR. He can, and will charge you... And you have more to lose than just the ability to hunt or fish. IMHO you need to go ahead and touch base as well with an attorney. I don't wipe my nose without talking to one of mine if there is even the slightest chance I may need them. I assure you the Turkey Trooper won't back off, and can secure warrants. Then the conversation with the MP's won't go very well.

Alright well problem solved and done. Game warden came on post today to go and see the federal game wardens here on Stewart. He dropped by my house to ticket me just as he had my friend. I called the jag office to see if he could legally do that. Well long story short as he is searching my car the mp's show up confiscate the tickets and ticket book and arrest the game warden. Wow was that awkward. Apparently he entered post under false pretense without a warrant or permission from the mp's to pay me a visit. Jag had called the mp's and i did not know about it. The mp's were extremely pissed that he was trying to pull thos crap after i explained the story. The major, that is the chief of police told me not to worry about it any longer that it was taken care of. A 19year old specialist cuffed him and took him away. His truck was gone today at lunch. Not sure how though. Oh well
