Do you double clutch when you shift gears?

I would double clutch large trucks back in the 80's, but today's cars have hydraulic clutches and no need to.
I double clutch when making big downshifts, like from 6 to 3 or 4 to 2. Not necessary but I feel it helps prolong the synchronizers.
Now my Miata I double clutch almost every downshift and the 1 to 2 upshift. Synchronizers on that car are pretty worn out. Too many people learned to drive stick on that car, myself included.

My Corvette (if you select it) will automatically blip the throttle on the downshift with the manual transmission.

It would sound EVEN better if you have a Corsa exhaust (unless you already have one)
I don't really see the need to do this with modern manuals. But if it makes you feel good, then by all means have at it.
I do it in the 73 Camaro Z28 its easier on the trans and motor too

That's the only real reason. If you have time to double clutch you ain't driving it hard enough.
No need to blip my throttle on the Harley before I take off, but I do it anyway. LOL
