Top tier manufacturer, along with only four or five other companies out there. You can't go wrong and they're local.

I know the guys at Daniel a they are all first class. My next ar will be a DD.

For what it's worth, I chose Daniel Defense over a Colt.

They are tier one manufacturer, that I will say. Kind of hard getting a hold of from time to time though because hey sell so briskly.

The M4v series are the best bang for the buck in an AR-15, and that covers from cheapies to top tier. Daniel Defense is a top tier manufacturer of carbines and accessories. They're one of a handful of places that actually makes their own barrels, and they are hammer forged at that. As far as I know, FN and possibly H&K are the only AR manufacturers besides DD that has their own hammer forge machine.

Also, in case you weren't aware DD has the contract for the SOCOM rails.

My next rifle is going to be a DD. I've heard they have really good customer service, and I'd like to keep my money local.

They are top notch, but as stated earlier they can be hard to find sometimes.
