I usually just take a double shot of NyQuil …..if I am really bad I follow it up with a shot of warm bourbon about 30mins later. I am a big dude though too…that may be too much for many folks.
Also I keep peppermint candies for the sniffles.

Same here.. don’t remember the lemon juice though. Mom would take a pint canning jar, add about 6 sticks of the peppermint candy sticks and a 1/2 cup of honey and fill it with shine. Shake around good till the candy sticks start melting. Always loved having chest congestion! lol
