Out at my Mom's trying out new stuff I haven't shot yet. Brand new Hatsan Escort Slugster was first up. Loaded the first #6 high brass birdshot and what happened next? It popped back out of the tube and over the damn shell lifter. Know what that means? Well one if I really it needed then I'd be dead robbed raped etc. Secondly I had to stand there and field strip the whole damn gun to get the loaded shell out.
This would not have happened with my Mossberg 500A or my Shockwave. BTW...that Shockwave is not fun to shoot. And that's with birdshot.

I kinda want to SBS a shockwave...
I inherited the Shockwave from my late stepfather. I was with him when he bought it at Howard's Pawn in 2019. I told him maybe he should get the 20 gauge. He wasn't hearing it. But if he had ever fired this thing it surely would have landed across the room.

Here's another huge fail. This new Bear Creek 8.5" side charger. Mag full of Tula steel. Hit the bolt release on the first round and it went almost into battery but not close enough. And then it was stuck. I couldn't get it open without tapping the handle with a hammer. Got two rounds through it and it locked up again. Wish I had brought some brass case ammo to see if that was the issue. Either way as Paulie Gaultieri would say "This **** is unacceptable!"

Ive owned one Bear Creek upper - and I knew what I was getting into with it. Never again.

That tight chamber will loosen up. My best AR barrel started out that way. You can free it without tools by slapping the side charger thingy down on the edge of the range table
