UGA attorneys tee off on the AJC for embellished reporting about UGA with regard to bad acts and accusations of wrongdoing against student athletes.

AJC responds by firing the reporter, writing a flowery statement about his years of great reporting, publishing his "I'm proud to have been with AJC statement, " issues two small corrections to the reporting, ignoring the rest of UGA's claims, and state they "stand by their reporting." That's a great whitewash. Gently throw your guy under the bus (I imagine they will pay him full retirement benefits despite the "firing"), and ignore, without answering, what UGA has mapped out in great detail, about the reporting.

AJC issues corrections in UGA football program story
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Wednesday issued corrections to its recent investigation into the University of Georgia football program’s handling of sexual abuse allegations against its players and recruits.
