Yesterday went great, everyone was stuffed.Sister-in-law’s extended family have invited us again. Be about 16 people total.
Brother-in-law will fry a couple of turkeys, there’ll be a beef roast, maybe a ham.
Everybody brings their favorite veggie or dessert dish.
Wife will be preparing 48 deviled eggs, this year I’m taking an oyster casserole.
The host always has a good stock of 18yo Glenfiddich which I graciously help him deplete.
edit to add:
I’ve got a 12 lb turkey to fix for us the Friday or Saturday after, wife will fix her dressing, I’ll make the giblet gravy and maybe fix some poppers.
Then I’ll be resigned to drinking my cheap ol’ 12 yo Balvenie Doublewood.
Time you get though Christmas you'll be tired of that.....Yesterday went great, everyone was stuffed.

There's not a turkey ass in this world big enough to hold enough dressing for my crew!I'm a damn Yankee so I'm gonna make a big ass turkey and stuff it. Stuffing made outside of a turkeys ass is just wrong.
