Once it’s cold you can slice it, heat a slice in a frying pan. Makes a great sandwich on white bread.

My granny kept all the bread ends (unless I was there at the end of a loaf) and froze them along with any left over cornbread throughout the year. At the big meal holidays, she would use it to make her dressing. She also used fresh sage from her herb garden.

Stuffing is what yankees do because they don't know how to make southern style Dressing to go with their Turkey. Dressing is in a different class altogether from "stuffing"

I like grilling pork chops a little under done. Put them on a pan of dressing in the oven to finish. The juice from the pork chops moisturizes the dressing. Really good eats.
