Got the inside skinned thanks to some awesome rough cut
lumber from Drillboss.

I’ll load a video once I get it trimmed out, sanded and coated with tung oil.

My wife came home from the thrift store today with a faux gas pipe fitting curtain rod she got for $1.00.
I’ll use real gas pipe for the other one so they match.

Gonna be totally offgrid and I need to get myself a couple nice battle born lithium iron phosphate batteries and up my solar panels.

Three coats of satin poly on the bunk.
Gonna put gas pipe railings on the ladder legs to ease getting up/down.
Made my own quarter round today , stained gray.
Tomorrow , more poly , cut some boards to cover the ugly foam showing near the cap and poly the quarter round and nail it down.
Also make some custom eave trim boards and whatever else time allows.

Also gonna build a drop down dinette table and two seats along one wall under the window.
That will be the showpiece of the whole build.
The large shelf under the one window will be the cooking station
for when I get my solar set up up and running.
Have more tricky ideas up my sleeve for hidden storage and lockable storage.

Looks awesome, stain does gives it an antique look in which I like. Only thing I see that you might look into is as I experienced in my cabin is that I had to go back and fix was the tin started to sweat and caused condensation on the inside of the tin. I went back a put felt paper down.

I have the same set up in my other cabin.
The solar exhaust fan keeps the air moving and the cabin stays dry.
I’m hoping this one does the same but ya never know.
Thanks for the heads up.
