Social distance project (Cabin #2).

Where did you get that exhaust? I’d like to look into that.

Amazon.
It came with two small 12v batteries 18ah each.
The fan is 3000 cfm and really moves the air but it kills the small batteries almost immediately.
I never ran it long enough to take the batteries down to 12.2 volts.
For the time being I’m gonna run it on the solar panel only which decreases the velocity but moves air just fine when the sun is out.
My other cabin runs in a very small solar panel with a similar fan. (greenhouse fan).

Eventually I’ll get some battleborn batteries and more panels and hardware for a killer offgrid set up.

Look up solar attic fans on amazon.
Don’t get the kit with the small batteries, they don’t run that fan for long, even in full sun .
If you’re in a sunny spot a 100 watt panel should do just fine by itself.

Pretty much ran out of lumber sooooo....I decided to run one board on the ceiling near the top plate and another at the ridge beam.
I ripped some boards to cover the void between those boards and the purlins that just happened to line up perfectly.
They turned out pretty clean.

I’m gonna do the same up at the ones near the ridge but there is no purlin there so one end of the filler boards will butt up against the tin roof.
Good spot to run some led light strips.
