And here we are again! Knee surgery #4 just happened so I’m taking the month off work. That means weeks of BBQ!

I need some new suggestions please. Post them here, PM me, whatever. Only criteria is it must be within 60 mile radius of Watkinsville.

Already got 2 on the list locally: Fresh Air BBQ, Athens (Been there but this is a new location) and BBQ Bears in Winder.

There's all kinds of public land. If there's a will, there's a way......If nothing else go camping.......

Brisket is my benchmark for any bbq joint. Anytime I try a new bbq joint, I go for the brisket first. If they can't do brisket right, I don't trust them with anything else.

Here for ribs. Just need 24 hours notice. Love your online presence but VERY few rate the brisket. I will cook ribs for anyone passing through though. if you make it the last stop can stay here but Woodford is the Burban of choice here. Have a extra bedroom or two.

FYI Just heard Ken Kress is retired and not taking new patients for knees or hips .
