Happy belated birthday, sir, and thank you for your service. If I owned any land outside of this zero-lot-line neighborhood I'm in, I would gladly let you come and shoot.
I can agree that times are changing and folks are becoming less inclined to let people shoot on their land. If a guest trips on a tree root, much less sustain a firearm related injury, it could easily end up costing that person their land. The world we live in is batsh*t backwards.
