Biden appeals ruling against ban on gun bump stocks
President Joe Biden's administration on Friday asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear its appeal of a lower court ruling against a federal ban on "bump stock" devices that enable semiautomatic weapons to fire like machine guns.

Update last week. The same district judge that stated that a bump stock was not a machine gun ruled against gun rights group seeking an injunction on the issue. Judge stated there was not enough info based on the groups argument on history of braces. Judge then told them you might win a summary judgement based on what was presented but not an injunction. So if it takes as long to settle this as it did the bumpstock situation we will know in a few years.
The system should not err against our rights. It should err on the side of our rights. If Trump's order is eventually ruled unconstitutional, a half-million people will have been criminalized and deprived of their 2A rights for perhaps eight years or more simply by the stroke of a one man's pen.
That’s how the Communist States of America works. Remember Pelosi said “Trump has the right to prove his innocence”.
