These guys are usually pretty detailed in their review and data, and they are claiming that at the end of the day, that 10mm and .40S&W aren't all that different?

Nonsense. Off the shelf plinking ammo doesn't offer much more in 10mm, it's downloaded, but if you want full house hunting/SD loads the only way to go is 10mm. You don't have the option of those kinds of energies and velocities at the upper limit of 40S&W.

If you own a 44 don't waste your time with a 10 mm. Just my opinion though.

Most of the guides are dropping carrying heavier 44mags etc because they usually end up on the river bottoms anyway. SO loosing a $500 gun vs a $800-1000 heavier gun just doesn't make sense. 10mm with heavy loads will drop a moose/bear/whitetail....

I like it and my younger daughter likes shooting 10mm out of my Delta Elite over shooting a 1911 in 45acp. I even like the 10mm Glock over the ,40 S&W. Just say YES to 10mm

Seems like even the normal Sig V-Crown ammo is pushing 625ft/lbs out of a 5" barrel... Underwood 200gr seems to test at almost 700ft/lbs...

I might do this, just for the hell of it.
