Not being a follower of pop culture I had no idea who he was until I read an article about his passing.
It's a tough crowd and you're right. I'm afraid our hearts have been hardened by the constant onslaught of bad news and hate that rains down now at a fevered pace. We tend to dehumanize tragedy and generalize people into groups based on our perception of them.
It's not right it just is. We should all strive to be better people.
