How are y’all cooking your birds?

Yeah, those frozen birds take a good 5-6 days to thaw in the fridge. Made that mistake once when I was a kid. Bought a frozen Turkey day before Thanksgiving. Had to cold water and cut up into pieces then cold water again. Still didnt work right.

I thought 5 days would be enough for a 22 pounder. It wasn't. Had to put it in a cooler full of cold water about 10 last night.

Just the wife and I so we have downsized for the past several years, good sized turkey breast only, in a cooking bag in the oven. Pretty easy for grandma and grandpa.

Jump to 12:15. I tell Margaret her Yankee biscuits would make dandy cannon balls. They crack worse than peanut brittle.

I love biscuit and cornbread "dressing."
