Found a great outdoor range here in Georgia.

good question, i would think they'd have some kind of office or shack like building to visit where you can park and be told about the place or given a tour

Yea I mean I'm just trying to figure out why they would post up info on here, usacarry, GLOCKTALK, AKforum AR15.com facebook and other places then not have any address listed. :noidea: Carry on

I think you're making too much of this....the guy sounds like he runs a "by appointment only" range and doesn't want "genpop" showing up unannounced. Makes sense to me.

Yea I also registered and posted this on AR15.com as well just now. I tend to stray away from forums but feel pretty strongly about this place. That should tell you something.

This is the kind of stuff I was referring to in this post: http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/711768-Hey-dudes/page18?p=3685488&viewfull=1#post3685488

For anyone interested, this is where I learned about Semper Fi: http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/th...area-ever***?p=3541795&viewfull=1#post3541795

And this was my experience: http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/691949-GREAT-visit-to-Semper-Fi-Gun-Training-yesterday!

Steve DOES offer a very unique facility in a great setting. I was very satisfied with my visit there and have a couple events in the works at their facility. To add to that, Steve and Wes are some of the nicest people you'd care to run across. The reason they don't publish their address shouldn't matter to you. If you book a visit and see the place, you'd know. AS I said, it's a great place and a GREAT alternative to sinking hundreds of dollars into an initiation fee for a private range membership, to taking your chances at a public range, where time, crowds, and range rules are stifling at times, to a crowded indoor range, to having to bushhog and build backstops at your hunting property. Give them a try. I guarantee you'll have a good time and be back for more.
