I bought this on ebay and paid a buddy to drive from Lexington, KY to pick it up in Detroit, MI and back down to me in South Florida.... I never saw the truck someone made him a offer on the truck at a truck stop here in Georgia, LOL

Had a friend that just bought a Leaf and was going to trade in her 2012 Accord. I told her to sell her car to Carmax and just buy the Leaf without a trade in. She took it to Carmax and they offered $13k. I told her she could probably get close to $15k for it but she didnt care to go through the hassle of selling it. I offered to sell it for her but she refused. So before she sold to Carmax I told her I'd give her $13k for it. So I did. Gave her a cashier's check on a Tuesday so she could pay off her loan, had it sold by Friday (4 days) on Craigslist for $14,200. Title took about two weeks to get here but buyer left a deposit until it arrived.

In GA you can flip 5 cars before you're considered a dealer. ODT rules might be different, apparently.

That damned title tax killed the private used car market. And I like how politicians tried to pass it off as some great win they championed for consumers by eliminating the ad-valorem tax. In actuality, it was a win for the auto dealership industry.
