I understand your point but BLUE BOOK OF GUN VALUES is about as pro gun as any company I know.
I would hope they would be one of the last places to voluntarily surrender private customer files to big gov.
If we get to that point it’s game on anyway in my estimations.
The way I look at it they can just as easily access your pc and get your excel files if they want to...after all if that computer with those files is connected to the internet they can get it.
Until a hacker steals that info and ransomwares you by posting your collection and address online.
 
im not much of an excel wiz but i do like having a database. i found a neat program called shotworks-pro.

its got all the bells and whistles including history, photos, use, and just about anything else i could think of.
 
Could happen I suppose...but then a good hacker can also steal any file on your computer too.

Guess we all have to choose what to worry over...and not.
The point is that posting it online increases your risk exponentially. There is much more incentive to steal a whole database of gun info.
