A lotta truth in that.

If I remember right, he went through a pretty big federal lawsuit 2 or three years ago, related to one of his giveaway trucks and modification of the emissions system. Soon after he said that they would be phasing out diesel project vehicles and taking a new direction.

If the US Government was serious about putting more fuel efficient cars on the road and reducing our dependence on oil in a big way, they would offer $10k subsidies on ICE Toyota Corollas.
