Utah is not reciprocal with South Carolina meaning you need to have a South Carolina weapons permit to carry in South Carolina.

Correct. However GA does recognize the Utah non-resident permit. Which is why I have one in my wallet next to my SC CWP.
From what I've researched, you can still carry loaded in the glove box of your car. My folk live in SC and that's what I do. Dad's packin' when we go out so we're covered there

As am i, But i retain my GA license. and GA residency, rather than my SC residency. Call SLED, ask them, they are the regulatory branch for CWPs
