Anyone run plate carrier in 3 gun?

I didnt see a transition, or a need for it. Im confused... Did you have plates in it as well?
I don't understand what you mean about transition. This stage only had rifle and pistol with no mag changes. Other stages do in addition to shotgun. Neg on plates. I'm made "homemade" training plates to fill it out and keep everything tight.

Got ya.... Just wondering why run a PC????
Utilizing the kit I already had, but the PC offers more molle space and versatility with room for the 12+ shells needed per stage. The 5 rd shell holder on my back is not being used. I thought I could reach back for slugs there, but I can only reach one in the present location.

That looks like a fun match. Where is that?

It's Georgia Mountain Shooting Association Range outside Toccoa in Eastanollee GA. Here is a link to their 3 Gun page http://www.gmsaclub.com/3-gun.html.

A lot of fun for all and that stage was the least "dynamic" of the 5.

The first stage was shotgun under wall (prone or lying down),
to pistol on plate rack,
to pistol on IPSC targets.

The second was shooter's choice of: Shooting rifle on a clay, then retreating, engaging 8 IPSC targets with varying hard cover (black) on either side,
to advancing with pistol on IPSC with hard covers finishing with a steel plate. OR retreating on the pistol side to advancing with rifle to the clay. All engagement had to be on the move.

The third was the one shown in the video:
Shooting rifle, two shots per IPSC and one shot to the 4" white circle of each square,
to pistol on the 4" white circle,
to two steel plates,
to the white side of the popper,
to two shots on the actuated swinger.
The tricky part was that any hit to the brown square outside the circle was +5sec PER HIT. That stage ate me up! First hit on all pistol targets was a penalty. That's why I'm studder-stepping so much. Frazzled, almost ran by the stop barrel:hand:

The fourth was shotgun on 11 clay-sized steel plates of various distance WHILE SEATED,
to rifle on a modified 7rd "chaos drill" + 3rds @ two additional IPSC with hard cover with a starting mag max of 10rds,
to pistol on IPSC.

The fifth was shotgun on 9 static clays,
to a flying clay,
to 2 slugs on a 10" gong @ 50yds,
to rifle on 3 10" gongs at 100 yds,
to 2 10" gongs @ 200yds with a bonus gong @ 150 for -5 sec (which I couldn't even see.)

GMSA is only doing 3 Gun on 5th Saturdays (next one in Aug). They DO have monthly Tactical matches on 3rd Sat http://www.gmsaclub.com/tactical.html
and IDPA on 4th Sat http://www.gmsaclub.com/idpa.html.

If you're interested in shooting one, come on out. It's a great group of friendly folks.
