Adventure Outdoors - WTH??

I'm no fan of AO, but that is not their failure.

Yea I'm not a fan either but I really don't see how this is their fault. If anything I wouldn't buy another Keltec but from what I hear they are pretty reliable and their customer service is good. I could understand if this was a used gun and the shop sold you a used POS but it new. Why should they be responsible for Keltec's mishap?

What if the OP is using reverse psychology and this thread really IS an 'awesome review' of AO?

I was just thinking it would be GENIUS of AO to start this thread!

Additionally, I had a kel tec and the most effective use of the firearm was to throw it at any intruders... right in the face. To be honest, I don;t see how the issue warrants any repair (unless it became less aerodynamic)...

But, I feel for you and will replace your kel tec with this nice rock I have. I will paint it black if you had a tactical model. At least you will be safe until your rock gets back from the factory...

Lastly... of course you got free range time! Have you seen the floor there? They make money off of all the brass they catch in the buckets down there!

So I'm really just going to continue building the echo chamber, but AO did nothing wrong here. In fact, I've personally witnessed how crappy their customer service is and I pretty much can't stand AO. I take any opportunity I can to bash them. BUT I've gotta say, the way they handled this situation was actually above and beyond how they needed to handle it. OP is complaining about a gun shop that offered to ship the firearm for him, free range time, and free rentals. I'm actually very impressed that AO did so well in handling the situation. I would have never expected that from him.

OP, sounds like you are either very inexperienced with how gun shops are supposed to handle these situations, or you just got really emotional about it. Now call up the manager at AO that you spoke to and apologize for acting the way you did over the situation.

This ^^^^

How has no one put a rail, grip, and 550 cord sling on a rock?
