Why "I'll take it" doesn't mean a thing

There once was a time, not so long ago, when a man's word meant something!! In those golden old days, "I'll take it" meant exactly that. Some still live by those rules!

That time must have been prior to August 6, 2011...because ever since then, here, it's always meant the same thing.

I took it down...got tired of the ridiculousness. Also realized that I way over paid for it so am just going to keep it.

When it comes to making deals on here, I never worry about anything as long as I see leggos or chickens in the avatar...if I dont see that, the negotiations will be in my my favor 100%.
