What have you reloaded today?

I would almost rather buy 380 than load it. That cartridge is my nemesis.
I loaded nothing today as I finished loading out all my components.

Come get my Dillon XL650. I just re-loaded the last of my .380, ....couple thousand or so in about 6 hours.....taking my sweet time. Only glitch was having a 9mm case in the mix which go into the .380 shell plate. Removing it took about 5 seconds.

It is for sale as I will not reload pistol anymore and you can see it in the accessories SE region of the classifieds.

At current primer/bullet/powder prices, the cost was about 40 cents/round.

Converted some 300 blackout from 223 this evening. Going to try to run a thousand tomorrow.

Nice!! Does that Dillon cutter/ trimmer set up make a huge mess and send brass chips everywhere? I’m guessing you have to clean all that really good before you switch back to your other tool head for reloading?

I have the frankford Arsenal setup now for brass trimming. Literally as easy as an electric pencil sharpener once it’s setup right. I don’t do .223 to .300 blk though just standard case trimming for .223 and .308. Have been wanting one of those Dillon trimmers for a while but with current market and back orders it will have to wait some more.... just keep sharpening pencils for now lol

I have a crappy video. As soon as I upload it, I will post it. Here is a picture of the wet vac attachment.

It’s funny that what you wrote has been exactly why I’m sticking with my manual indexing rl550s for now. If I had a 650, I’d be ripping out rounds so fast and be out of components!!! I’ve been wanting one, but I decided speeding up brass prep of rifle cartridges is what I need to work on. I bought the rt1500 (waiting on trim dies), a wet tumbler and the swage it. Supposedly I’ll be able to de-cap, resize, swage, trim, neck size then wet tumble and be good to load .223. We shall see!!!

Awesome! My rt1500 is here, just waiting on trim dies. I originally was getting it for converting .300bo, but I managed to pick up 4000 cases. First order will be converting 6.8spc and the die has shipped!!
