150 rounds of .223 SMK 77gr HPBT.

Went old school today at first on the rock chucker. Loaded 50 rounds of 308. Not so bad when the brass is already prepped and primed. Finished out the day converting about 4-500 300 AAC blackout brass from 223 on the 650. Now to wet tumble them.

Sorted some brass too. Found a brass covered steel case. That’s why I run a magnet over all of it.

Done with .223 for a long while, moving on to .300 bo!! Loaded up some supersonic and ready to test this weekend!

I was thinking for home defense the 125gr .300 bo would be a good candidate as opposed to my .223 AR?????

I think both have their uses. I would be concerned about over penetration with the 300 if you live in a neighborhood. As far as knock down power, I would go with the 300.
