Gosh, I am so glad that his cop bashing thread is back. Nothing like a good cop bashing thread to get me through the week. Hey, I have a novel idea. You cop bashing guys always seem to be watching videos about bad cops from out of state. I am sure there are some real bad cops right in your back yard. Instead of complaining about what happens in another state, try cleaning up your own back yard and those in that state take care of their problems. You ranting against police would sure have more validity if you did. Of course, this is just my opinion. So flame away cop bashers, flame away.

That one time when you aren't at your best shouldn't result in significant injury or death....
the only time in my life that I was actually scared of a cop was while on missile crew, when I realized that the kid coming out of the Flight Security Office with a loaded M-16 could have been born in 1970 (this was in '88), told my deputy if he got us jacked up I'd shoot him when we got down to the launch control center

What we should have is an "opt-out" webpage where you could let those worthless LEOs know their help was not needed because you have insurance and a gun! This way, they could be freed up to protect those who beg for their help when things go south. You know, people just like you when the crap hits the fan. We may even be able to get some of these jack-booted thugs off the streets since we will not need so many using this opt-out program. I think I may be on to something here! DOWN WITH THE GESTAPO!

Of course not. The police are for protecting the police state.
I know this. The point I was going to make was that if people could Opt out of the service AND the bill then we could have competition in the market and most of these issues would go away.
It'd be pretty awesome to be able to opt out, wait can't you do that now in parts of detroit? Or do they still have to pay for the police service but not get it?
