Police love to say if you're not doing anything wrong, what do you have to hide, yet all over the nation police unions virulently fight calls to force them to wear cameras.
If they opt out would they be exempt from paying for the service? You and MMatt30 are both right. What we should have is an "opt-out" webpage where you could let those worthless LEOs know their help was not needed because you have insurance and a gun! This way, they could be freed up to protect those who beg for their help when things go south. You know, people just like you when the crap hits the fan. We may even be able to get some of these jack-booted thugs off the streets since we will not need so many using this opt-out program. I think I may be on to something here! DOWN WITH THE GESTAPO!

I know this. The point I was going to make was that if people could Opt out of the service AND the bill then we could have competition in the market and most of these issues would go away.Of course not. The police are for protecting the police state.

Lol.It'd be pretty awesome to be able to opt out, wait can't you do that now in parts of detroit? Or do they still have to pay for the police service but not get it?
