Tell me about Mosins

Nah, you aint gonna find a better rifle for a lil over 100 bucks.

If they still sold for "a lil over 100 bucks," you'd have a point :boink:

Lax has suppressed his 91/30 and as ridiculous as it seems, it was impressive. Hearing safe as I recall. The thing was heavy and long but it was neat.

As to what the big deal is, I don't get it either. I've had two and sold both. Once they started selling for $150-$200, I became completely uninterested. Back when they were $60-$80, maybe...but now? I'll pass.

I think its all the variants and years and makes that are available to the collectors. Regular Mosin's meh. Finns? Nice! American Mosin NICE! Snipers? Nice. Imperial Russian Mosin? Nice. Antique Mosin Pre 1898? Nice. Ok I will stop.

I don't know of a cheaper way to practice marksmanship skills. If 308 were close in price per round I would be shooting that probably.

I think about all were used in combat at some point . I thought there was a shortage of them and were passed back on the front lines. I may be wrong. If they could talk...the stories the could tell. That's just me.
