I hope I am not this naive. But the market was down all of September, now, first couple of days in October, it is going way up.

Is it this easy for the Dem/Socialist/Liberals to move it prior to an election??

If so, they are doing the same thing they did with gas prices.

And, the stock market will head back into bear market ground after the first week of November.

Not happy camper.

Traditionally Oct-Dec purchases make the most gains. That being said I am keeping my powder dry until later in the year. I don't believe we have seen the bottom quite yet, though being proven wrong would be great for everyone.

You give politicians too much credit. The stock market is and always will be a gambling casino. No skill or diabolical mystical powers involved. Just feed the slot machine and push the putton or pull the lever.

Like the national oil reserve being tapped to lower the price of gas prior to the election. This policy will end this month. The price of gas will rise just immediately following the election.

I would be lying if I knew what machinations are being used to cause the stock market to stop falling and start to rise. It could be ‘the bottom’. However I don’t think so. IMHO This is is a manipulation to prevent the Dems from loosing as badly. But inevitably I believe this is all part of their plan to make things terrible.

You will never make the choice between bad and worse, when its all sunshine, rainbows, and unicorns. They have to make it terrible to force you to choose. When that choice is made. I believe that will facilitate the next steps in their plans. And no it won’t be MAGA

I too smell a rat. Although we should bear in mind before historic drops often come rapid inclines.

I quit trying to figure out the market several years ago. It doesn't make sense anymore.

The stock market is nothing more than a place where anything that can be monetized and sold, will be sold.

The stock market never changes value, the assets just change hands

The stock market has no relation to the health of the economy other than the impact on those that loose big, and resulting panic.
