I can understand that but working on things mechanical in nature can be therapeutic when you're have personal problems. I can imagine managing a web forum and the drama that comes with it not so much.

And I'm pretty sure this isn't the boss's primary source of income. Computers don't last long when you live in a cardboard box under the bridge. So given, that assumption, I'm guessing this is more on the hobby side than the professional side.

Not trying to pick a fight in any way- just stating my opinion, which is in no way based in fact.
