SHTF which one do you choose?

Currently picking out a new rifle or pistol and would like a little input. Which one do you think would be better in a SHTF scenario in our environment we live in? I really do like the 11.5, but would like some more knowledgeable input.

I have never had any short barrel AR's so would have to stick with what I no I prefer a 16 inch stainless barrel

One choice one option. By default 16,

Do you have a suppressor for it? If so then the shorter barrel makes more sense. A full size can on a 16" AR makes it feel like a pike.

If you're not suppressing (why not?) the 16" makes more sense.

Take a pin/weld over a 16” if no suppressor, 13.8-14” pin is a handy rifle overall
